Terms of use

These terms cover the Kube Permission Evidence website, open-source CLI, and paid Field Kit. By using them, you agree to these terms.
Open-source CLI
The CLI source is provided under the MIT License. It evaluates collected Kubernetes RBAC objects; it is not a complete model of every Kubernetes authorizer or identity provider and is not a certification of compliance. You remain responsible for reviewing evidence and protecting generated security records.
Field Kit license
The Field Kit is a one-time purchase for one team. It adds maintained prebuilt binaries, batch subject manifests, cover-sheet templates, and priority update notes. Core collection, evaluation, Markdown/JSON export, signing, verification, accessibility, and safety behavior remain free.
A license token may be restored on your devices but may not be resold or publicly distributed. Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record. Checkout, receipts, taxes, and refund handling occur through that service. A refunded or charged-back purchase revokes its license automatically.
Availability and warranty
The software is provided “as is,” without warranty. We may improve or discontinue hosted documentation, but an obtained source release remains usable under its open-source license. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the software or an inaccurate or incomplete access conclusion.
Acceptable use and changes
Use KPE only against clusters and evidence files you are authorized to inspect. Do not use the billing endpoint to probe, abuse, or validate tokens that are not yours. Material changes to these terms will be dated on this page.
